On my phone, at least. Gawker sites are pretty much unusable if I'm viewing them through Chrome. They start out fine, but within a few seconds, scrolling's so stuttery you can't do anything. It started a few days ago, and I can't think of what might've changed—I haven't got the Lollipop update yet, or anything.
Firefox works fine, and I don't have any issues with non-Gawker sites, so I know it's something about the combination of Chrome, my phone, and Kinja that's causing the issue.
Have a rallying Rallye for your time.

Point your sonic at it and hope for the best.

I'm using Chrome on a galaxy s5 and have had no issues.

I would, but the sonic's in another town at the mo—and, sadly, I don't have the other half of the set.

I'd make a video to demonstrate the exact issue, but I'm some ways away from my DSLR right now, and it's rather difficult to video your phone with your phone.

You might be able to do some screen recording?

Same here. Android 4.4.2, Kernel 3.4.0, build KOT49l. Just started recently. Was blazing fast before. Like you, I can viw other sites with no issue, and other phone functions are fine.
Although, oddly, the page for our post was ok until I started my reply, then it got baggy.
Please tag 'kinja help' in your main post so they see this.

Tagged. I'm just hoping Lollipop'll magically sort the issue. Otherwise, there'll be troubleshooting to do, and I fucking hate troubleshooting.

If only I had my ForceFX to hand...

Same here. It's a Chrome/Galaxy/Gawker combination for me.

That's an idea.

Same here. This reply took an agonizing 60 seconds or more.

Me too, but im on an HTC one M8.
Edit: if you turn off java it runs much smoother, but the comments will not load. (chrom/settings/content settings)

November 12th update to Chrome on Android screwed some stuff up.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We're looking into it right now.
Is this issue happening as of today?

Thanks for responding! Anyway, yeah, it's still happening—the more time I spend on a page, the worse the stuttering gets.

Interesting - what phone model and Android OS do you have?

Could you also please try clearing your cache/cookies and let me know if that helps?

A Nexus 5, running Android 4.4.4, build number KTU84P. Here's a screenshot:
And I'm running the most recent update of - non-Beta - Chrome, which is version '39.0.2171.59'.

I cleared them, and it helped for a couple of minutes, but the issue's back again now. It seemed to start up after I signed back into my account, but I suppose that could be simple coincidence.

Strange - I'm unable to produce it from my end currently. Are you experiencing the slow down on the front page or is it when you're scrolling through comments?

Both. I'd post a video, but I'm not really in a position to record my screen right now.
